Steamed Honey Chicken Recipe

Honey chicken Recipe Ingredients :
  • Chicken small size, 1 chicken
  • Orange juice, 50 ml
  • Honey, 100 ml
  • Sauce, 50 ml
  • Soy sauce, 100 ml
  • 1 small onian, thin round slices
  • Minced garlic, 2 teaspoons
  • Leek, 2 stalks, cut into rough
  • Ginger grated, 1 teaspoon
  • Salt, as needed
  • Sugar, as needed
  • Cayenne pepper to taste
Honey Chicken Recipe Instructions:

Marinate chicken with lemon juice, let stand for 10 minutes. Rinse and drain. Slices chicken in some parts (not to drop out).
Mix honey, soy sauce and garlic and stir well.
Place the chicken in place of stainless or heat resistant bowl.
Pour honey mixture over the chicken.
Add the other ingredients.
Heat the pan steamer, broiled chicken until cooked (about 1 hour), remove from heat.

Honey Chicken Recipe Ingredients:
  • One whole roasting chicken (about 3 pounds)
  • 2 scallions (green onions)
  • 1 small knob of ginger
  • Seasonings:
  • 1 cup dark soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rock sugar
  • 1 teaspoon five-spice powder
  • Glaze:
  • 2 tablespoons honey
Honey Chicken Recipe Istructions:

Remove the chicken's head and feet, cut it open from the stomach, pat dry on the inside and outside with paper towels.

Cut the scallions into long sections or tie into knots. Slice the ginger or flatten it with a knife.

Mix the dark soy sauce, rock sugar and five-spice powder together well. Reserve a few tablespoons to baste the chicken during cooking. Place the chicken in a large plastic bag with the scallions, ginger, and the remainder of the seasoning. Seal the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour, turning the chicken twice to make sure the chicken absorbs the marinade flavor evenly. Remove from the refrigerator and discard the marinade.

Spread the legs and wings of the chicken out away from the body. To microwave, place the chicken on a heatproof microwave tray unwrapped and microwave on high heat for 10 minutes.

Remove the chicken and brush with some of the reserved marinade and microwave for 10 minutes more.

Remove again, and brush with more marinade. If it is safe to use a small amount aluminum foil in your microwave (check the owners manual) cover the wings and neck with aluminum foil, making sure the foil does not touch the sides of the oven. Cook for another 10 minutes.

Remove the chicken, brush with the honey and microwave on medium high heat for 5 to 7 minutes more...and the Honey Chicken Recipe is ready to serve...enjoy it ! Nice !

Grilled Honey Mustard Chicken Breasts

Honey Chicken Recipe Ingredients:
  • 6 boneless and skinless chicken breasts halves
Marinade :
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • Salt to taste
Honey Chicken Recipe Instructions :

Place garlic, mustard, honey, lemon juice, pepper and salt in work bowl of food processor fitted with steel blade and process to mix. Gradually add oil in a thin stream into the bowl or through feed tube and process to mix until mixture is thoroughly blended. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
Pour all of marinade over chicken breasts and spread to coat. Cover loosely with plastic wrap. Let marinate at least several hours or up to 24 hours ahead. Turn several times while marinading. Bring to room temp before cooking.
Cook over grill approximately 6 minutes on each side or until the juices run clear when pierced with a fork and there is no pink meat...and the honey chicken recipe of mustard is ready to serve..enjoy it !
