Honey Chicken Recipe Ingredients :
  • 5 Spring onions, 1/2-inch pieces
  • 4 oz. fresh ginger, peeled and finely grated
  • 2 tbsp. peanut oil
  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, 1-inch cubes
  • 1 yellow onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 lb. sliced mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. honey
Honey Chicken Recipe Instructions :
Soak Spring onions in cold water for 15 minutes. Mix ginger with cold water, then drain and squeeze out excess water by pressing between paper towels (this removes the hot taste).

Heat oil in a wok or skillet; add the chicken and saute for 5 minutes or until chicken is opaque in color. Remove using a slotted spoon and set aside.

Add onion and saute until translucent, then add garlic and mushrooms; stir fry over high heat for 1 minute. Return chicken to pan.

Combine soy sauce and honey; pour over chicken. Add ginger and mix well. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes until heated through. Add drained Spring onions.
Serve immediately or refrigerate overnight for best flavor.

  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup honey
Honey Chicken Recipe Instructions:
Wash and dry chicken halves and place in shallow pan or dish. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over chicken. Turn chicken halves so both sides are well coated with marinade. Marinate for 1 hour or more at room temperature, turning several times.

When ready to broil, take chicken pieces from pan and drain slightly, then place skin side down on broiler rack in high position.

Broil 3-4 minutes and turn. Broil 25 minutes, brushing top with remaining marinade. Turn and broil 25 minutes or until done. If meat thermometer is used, insert after chicken has been turned over.

Honey chicken Recipe Ingredients :
  • Chicken small size, 1 chicken
  • Orange juice, 50 ml
  • Honey, 100 ml
  • Sauce, 50 ml
  • Soy sauce, 100 ml
  • 1 small onian, thin round slices
  • Minced garlic, 2 teaspoons
  • Leek, 2 stalks, cut into rough
  • Ginger grated, 1 teaspoon
  • Salt, as needed
  • Sugar, as needed
  • Cayenne pepper to taste
Honey Chicken Recipe Instructions:

Marinate chicken with lemon juice, let stand for 10 minutes. Rinse and drain. Slices chicken in some parts (not to drop out).
Mix honey, soy sauce and garlic and stir well.
Place the chicken in place of stainless or heat resistant bowl.
Pour honey mixture over the chicken.
Add the other ingredients.
Heat the pan steamer, broiled chicken until cooked (about 1 hour), remove from heat.

Honey Chicken Recipe Ingredients:
  • One whole roasting chicken (about 3 pounds)
  • 2 scallions (green onions)
  • 1 small knob of ginger
  • Seasonings:
  • 1 cup dark soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rock sugar
  • 1 teaspoon five-spice powder
  • Glaze:
  • 2 tablespoons honey
Honey Chicken Recipe Istructions:

Remove the chicken's head and feet, cut it open from the stomach, pat dry on the inside and outside with paper towels.

Cut the scallions into long sections or tie into knots. Slice the ginger or flatten it with a knife.

Mix the dark soy sauce, rock sugar and five-spice powder together well. Reserve a few tablespoons to baste the chicken during cooking. Place the chicken in a large plastic bag with the scallions, ginger, and the remainder of the seasoning. Seal the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour, turning the chicken twice to make sure the chicken absorbs the marinade flavor evenly. Remove from the refrigerator and discard the marinade.

Spread the legs and wings of the chicken out away from the body. To microwave, place the chicken on a heatproof microwave tray unwrapped and microwave on high heat for 10 minutes.

Remove the chicken and brush with some of the reserved marinade and microwave for 10 minutes more.

Remove again, and brush with more marinade. If it is safe to use a small amount aluminum foil in your microwave (check the owners manual) cover the wings and neck with aluminum foil, making sure the foil does not touch the sides of the oven. Cook for another 10 minutes.

Honey Chicken Recipe Ingredients:
  • 6 boneless and skinless chicken breasts halves
Marinade :
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • Salt to taste
Honey Chicken Recipe Instructions :

Place garlic, mustard, honey, lemon juice, pepper and salt in work bowl of food processor fitted with steel blade and process to mix. Gradually add oil in a thin stream into the bowl or through feed tube and process to mix until mixture is thoroughly blended. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
Pour all of marinade over chicken breasts and spread to coat. Cover loosely with plastic wrap. Let marinate at least several hours or up to 24 hours ahead. Turn several times while marinading. Bring to room temp before cooking.
